Introduction
Learning Intension:
For children to learn about intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. Children create personal satisfaction from setting and completing goals. Children create meaningful goals for themselves. This lesson related to English.
Social and Emotional Development:
Children build confidence in themselves to reach their goals. They understand that their journey towards their goal is a personal one and that they don't need to compare themselves to others. They also learn to take ownership of what they want to accomplish. This helps to build a positive self-concept.
Flourishing Purpose:
Accomplishment. To empower children to set meaningful goals, direct their effort towards them, have belief in themselves and to accomplish their goals with personal satisfaction.
