Intoduction
Learning Intention:
For children to discover that working in a team creates a sense of belonging. For them to experience healthy competition and recognise that it is part of a common human experience. For children to identify extrinsic motivation when working on a team goal. For them to reflect on how they can use everything that they have learnt in the program to accomplish their goals. This lesson is related to Maths.
Social and Emotional Development:
Children connect with their peers and foster a sense of belonging. They feel accomplishment by reflecting on their learnings through the program. They build confidence in setting goals.
Flourishing Purpose:
Positive Relationships. Identifying that we are not alone in working towards our goals and that participating in team work can lead to extrinsic motivation, healthy competition and a feeling of accomplishment.
